Thumbs up from a self-confessed tea snob
I drink a *lot* of tea, and have used many different infusers over the years. This infuser is of a simple, clean design, without too many moving parts to wear out. It’s easy to use, easy to clean (and dishwasher-safe), made of sturdy materials, and (best of all) makes a nice cup of tea. I have bought six in the past 2 months either to use at home or give as gifts. I can’t think of any drawbacks to this product. Happy cuppas!
works great – better than a tealball!
I love this product! Contrary to the other reviews I have read, I have never had any issues and I have been using it daily for a couple of years. The product description on the Gamila website states that it works best with medium-sized tea leaves & maybe that is what I always use because it works perfectly everytime. I like that it doesn’t fall down into your cup like a teaball and seems to get better flow for brewing (you can even stir your cup with it before removing). It also makes a great gift.
Perhaps the person who said tea comes out weak isn’t brewing long enough? 3 min for mild, 4 min for medium, & 5 min for strong tea. Also, the teastick size is just right for a single cup of tea but not for a pot.
The tea stick is fabulous!
I’ve had my tea stick for over a year and I love it! It’s extremely easy to use and clean. To load, just use it as a scoop for your loose tea. To clean, tap out used tea and rinse. I purchased it at a local retailer so I haven’t had to deal with Gamila customer service.
