Decent tea, good value
It’s not as strong as some sencha’s, but for the price I have no problem using a little extra. Flavor is light and smooth with no bitterness. There is a slight seaweed taste, like the description says. Comes vacuum packed two 1kg bags. Leaves looks good, very few (if any) stems. Brews a nice light green color.
Is it the best I’ve ever had? No. But for the price, I’ll definitely buy this one again.
Delish!!! Just like a Japanese restaurant
When I was at my favorite Japanese restaurant, I asked the waitress to show me the label of the green tea they use. So, I purchased exactly that! It is fantastic! I also make iced green tea with this as well as hot. I split order with friend. One bag goes a super long way. *Don’t use a tea ball for diffusion. Purchase a coffee mug that has a screen top. I purchased one at Whole Foods. I think it was $15.00. I have also used a French Press. That works as well.
Superb
I drink tea every day, and this is by far my favorite green. My favorite Japanese restaurant uses it, and I am going to buy a bag as soon as I can! The leaf pieces are relatively small, but they make such a sweet, irresistably grassy tea with the Matcha mixed in, I would rank this alongside whole-leaf teas in taste. Definitely give it a try if you like Japanese green tea. It also requires very little leaf at a time, so it will last.
