I just love this Royal Tea by Newman’s Own! It’s taste is smooth and not bitter like some green teas. The quality is also the same in each box. They are always fresh, and the bags are in biodegradable paper wraps. My guests have always agreed that Newman’s makes a lovely cup of tea. Thanks, Nell!

An excellent green tea

I’ve been drinking Newman’s Own green tea for about 6 months and find it very enjoyable. It’s a no-nonsense green tea with no extra flavoring or gimmicks. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy something creative such as a Tazo Green Ginger every now and then- but day in and day out, I turn to this tea for my afternoon tea.

Very green tasting (which is good).

This tea has a VERY non-fermented taste. It almost has a wheatgrass flavor. A very unprocessed sencha type of tea, which, if you’re like me, you prefer over the “pale brown” tea you get with most inexpensive green tea.
