This coffee is the best, we used green mountain for many years and paid way to much. This is a wonderful coffee and the price is hard to beat. Love it

I order green beans from all over the world and roast my own coffee but still treat myself to this roast and origin, excellent!

This is a big bag of HORRIBLE coffee!

OK, others have raved about how great this coffee is, which is why I sprung for a whole 5 pounds. To begin with, the packaging for the coffee was not intact when it arrived. The outer plastic bag had a hole torn in the bottom and the product package was ripped at its side seam, so coffee beans were scattered through the shipping box. Just a visual inspection of the dark beans with a glint of oil sheen told me that this was certainly NOT light roast (why can’t the coffee delivered match the coffee ordered?). I went ahead and ground a batch of beans and made a pot of coffee using the same technique we use for our usual coffee (Allegro Organic varieties, which I promise are fantastic). Even before the first sip, I knew there was a problem – the stuff smelled a little bit like a wet dog. This off-putting aroma was a warning that I should have heeded, as the first sip was incredibly flat except for a stale cardboard-like taste. In desperation, I added a bit of cream even though we…
