Java One Kona Blend, Light Roast Coffee, 12-Count Pods (Pack of 6)

Strong and Bold

For a pod these are great. I use with my Senseo coffee maker. I was using Senseo pods until these pods were temporarily unavailable at Amazon so I tried the Java Ones and these pods have more and better tasting coffee than Senseo pods. I actually hit the double cup button for these and get a good cup of Joe. Just make sure the "thick side" of the pod is down so it won’t leak. Sorry Senseo, Your coffee maker is awesome but your pods are weak. Go with Java One!

Better than the original Senseo coffee pods…

Let me first say that I roast my own coffee beans; so it goes without saying that I am particular about my coffee. At work I do not have easy access to coffee, so I use a Senseo pod coffee brewer that was given to me. For a while, I used the Senseo Coffee Pods, Dark Roast,18 Count (Pack of 6), but they had a short shelf life and truthfully tasted yuck. I tried the Java One Kona Blend, Light Roast Coffee, 12-Count Pods (Pack of 6) and was pleasantly surprised. Each pod is individually sealed, so the shelf life is extended substantially. The roast is, in roaster’s lingo, a FC (full city), “medium roast” for the general public. It’s certainly not a french roast, a la that Seattle-based coffee giant…

While not the perfect brew, if you have a pod brewer, this is a very good choice for your daily, away-from-home coffee needs…

A very nice light roast

This Java One Kona Blend is a very nice light roast. The pods are individually wrapped for freshness and the pods fit nicely in the Senseo pod holder. I prefer a light roast, so this is one of several varieties I rotate through. I would give it 5 stars except it is not good enough to be my favorite and stop me from buying other light roasts. Good price for a Kona blend.
