Factory-Reconditioned Cuisinart PRC-12FR Classic Stainless Percolator, Stainless Steel

Doesn’t look like a refurb~!

When I opened this, I thought they had made a mistake and sent me a non refurb, but it does say on the box that it is a refurb! I would recommend buying the refurb, because it looks like brand new, and is much cheaper! The only thing I don’t like is the top is indeed made of plastic and not glass as a previous review stated. I would have given it a 5 star review if it were made of glass.

Perconow and Percolator !!

I was already in the market for a percolator. I mean nothing makes a better cup of coffee than a percolator. I was ready to shell out $50+ for one when I ran across this one. At THIS price, how could I NOT get it? Let me tell you, I love it. Rich coffee, rich aroma, and rich pockets since it was less than 1/3 the price of a new one. I can’t speak on longevity just yet, but I will update. Yes, a few grinds of the fine ground coffee gets pass, but you won’t even see them until you get to the very bottom of your cup. All percolators do this. To remedy this, just use the 3.5″ perc filters. You get 100 for about a buck. Also, let me say that this thing is beautiful. Mirror finish with a unique shaped handle. And the way the “skirt” sits flushed on the countertop, lovely. And, of course, the clear knob on top. Who dosen’t turn into a big kid when they see the coffee percolating? Something this nice for this price I had to give it five stars.

old-style percolator

this is a pretty good elec perc; however, it should only be used with coffee that is custom ground for use in percolators.

pre-ground coffee in a can is a bit too fine and slips through the holes
