Durable and looks great.
Easy to clean and durable. Mine has seen daily use, sometimes twice or more a day, for over a year. I am just now needing to replace the bumper, though the grommets were useless after the first couple of weeks. I will likely make a trip to the auto parts store with the arbor in hand and get a short length of rubber fuel line or vacuum line. The center arbor (bar) is quite stout, so be careful knocking your portafilter on this baby. Hit it too hard and you could damage the basket’s lip and lose your seal when you extract. To make this easy, I set my portafilter on the knockbox upside down so it drains quickly and leave it there for the 30 seconds or so I need to clean the espresso machine. The puck almost falls right out with very little effort.
The unit comes apart easily for cleaning and after a year the bucket shows no signs of leaking. I typically let my grounds sit in the bucket overnight to dry out and then pour them into the compost bag in the morning and wash the…
Costly but works great and is not an eye sore.
When I first ordered this, I figured it was not worth the money. But it actually is quite sturdy and a decent size for a home espresso maker.
Also it looks pleasant on the counter which is helpful.
I would buy it again if I was buying another one.
Well built, works well
This is quite large and heavy with a rubber base and rubber covered bar that dampens the noise when you whack the handle on it. Works very well. Suggestion – if you can leave the coffee face down on the bar until it cools and contracts. It will come out much easier.
